The George Inn
77 Borough High Street
Southwark
SE1 1NH
This is the only remaining galleried inn in London, built in 1677, and mentioned by Dickens in "Little Dorrit". The George is tucked away in a cobbled courtyard just off Borough High Street. The ground floor is divided into several connecting bars. There's a wealth of pretty lattice windows and oak beams.
