Originally the site of James I's aviary and extended by his Grandson, Charles II - Birdcage Walk was created as part of a post-Restoration remodelling of St.James' Park.
The building is regarded as one of the finest examples of traditional architecture in Westminster. The interiors and function rooms are styled to reflect Birdcage Walk's heritage and its strong engineering tradition.
