As well as competing in the tasting challenge, guests, tasting in teams and individually, will also learn how to unlock the mysteries of picking good wine from bad, finding bargains and avoiding corked and problem wines.

Francis' career started as a sommelier at the Grand in Brighton, then onto a fine wine importer, before working in wineries in Australia, California and Romania. Francis has also written courses for the wine trade and a free food and wine matching tool, The Wine Navigator.
